West Plains, MO. – Simmons Bank & Richards R-V held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially announce the completion of the latest edition to the Richards playground. The Simmons Making a Difference Grant provided funds to build a new and improved basketball court for all students and the young at heart to enjoy.
With the generosity of this Simmons Bank grant, Richards R-V completed the new court, including the installation of a VersaCourt Tile surface. VersaCourt tiles will improve the safety of play, reducing the trips and falls that result in injury, all while sporting Rocket colors.
The $24,052 Simmons Making a Difference Grant Award provides another important step toward the district’s vision and commitment to the Richards Playground Improvement & Inclusion Project.
