West Plains, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol were led on a short chase on Monday, July 10th by an individual who was driving while intoxicated.
According to Sergeant Eddie Young, Trooper K.L. Hogan was the patrolman involved in the arrest. Hogan attempted to stop a Southbound Ford F150 for speeding on Highway 63, South of West Plains at roughly 6:42pm. The driver, identified as Charles Sisco of Gatewood, MO., attempted to flee, which prompted a pursuit. The pursuit ended due to equipment failure on County Road 9790 near Brandsville. Arrest time was 7:19pm.
Sisco was taken into custody at the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office for a 24-hour-hold. Sisco is facing several charges as a result of this incident. Charges include Felony Resisting Arrest, Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Crash, Operating a Vehicle Without a Valid License, Making an Illegal U-Turn, Littering, Speeding, and Following Too Closely.
