West Plains, MO. – Cherry Street in West Plains has been closed due to a water leak that happened sometime this morning.

The closure was made official in the 11am hour today, and City Utility crews have been dispatched to address the problem.
With temperatures as low as they are today and tomorrow, remember that ice can quickly form when water is introduced to the roadway. Drive with caution, even in town. Residents have reported icy locations sporadically throughout the city, one namely West Broadway and Country Club Drive.
