Drivers should expect daytime closures on Missouri Route JJ North this week as crews conduct a scheduled bridge inspection.
The route will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Friday, July 3, according to officials. Motorists are urged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes during the inspection period.
Some residents voiced concerns about signage placement, noting that a closure sign positioned nearer to China Union Church would help drivers turn around safely rather than pulling into private driveways.
The public is encouraged to share the notice so others in the community can prepare for the temporary closure and stay safe during the holiday week.
