West Plains, MO. – Recently, officials with the City of West Plains have made a few announcements about some recent changes via their social media.
First and more immediately important are a group of road closures. Roadwork plans for today and tomorrow include Pony Thomas, West Main Street, Hazel Street, and Thornbourgh for repavements and patching. Severe weather today will impact this roadwork.
A second update includes a growing interest in the area: pickleball. The old tennis court next to the West Plains Aquatic Center has been resurfaced and striped for this game, and is ready for public use.
As a last reminder, don’t forget that the Food Truck Festival will be happening again tomorrow in front of the West Plains Civic Center from 10am to 2pm.
