Roby Fire Department Respond to Sunday Morning Fire

Roby, MO. – It’s that time of the year: many people will begin kicking on their heaters to ride out the cooler nights that accompany Fall. With that, the threat of house fires is on the rise, and the Roby Fire Department has already had to respond.

On Sunday morning, early in the 9am hour, emergency response workers traveled to a trailer house on Success Road, with Licking Rural and Houston Rural Fire Departments supplying aid.

No occupants were in the dwelling at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reports.

As the seasons continue, this event is another reminder to test your smoke alarms and heating systems before we get into the even colder part of the year.
