“Run for Bakersfield” Event to Take Place Next Weekend

Gainesville, MO. – Even nearly a month later, local residents are still pitching in to help their neighbors who were affected by the March tornadoes. April 12th, a run will take place for the purpose of benefitting those in Bakersfield who lost their homes.

Racers are encouraged to sign up before April 3rd for a shirt to wear the day of the race, and the cost of entry is $20 for those aged 13 and up, and $15 for those aged 12 and under.

The race itself will happen at 8am, starting on the square of Gainesville.

Misti Eslinger, an educator with the Gainesville Elementary is one of the organizers. Those who wish for more information can contact her by dialing 417-989-0050.
