Rural Interstate Speed Increase Takes Effect August 28th

Jefferson City, MO. – Recently, Governor Mike Kehoe signed into law senate Bill 1408, which will raise the maximum speed limit from 70 to 75 for select rural interstates and freeways across the state.

Only select areas will be elligible for this change, and the Missouri Department of Transportation will be evaluating which segments of which roadways will be seeing this change first.
