Van Buren, MO. – The driver of an RV was fatally injured on September 5th following a crash that happened on US 60, just one mile West of Van Buren.
William Chandler, 61, was a resident of Winston, GA, and was traveling Westbound on Highway 60. He was driving a 2013 Freightliner RV, which was totaled when Chandler traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, exited off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.

Next of kin has been notified, and Chandler was pronounced deceased at 4:30pm by a Carter County coroner. This is Troop G’s 18th fatality for 2022.
This accident was investigated by Trooper N.J. Britt of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
