Salem, AR. Man Arrested on Slew of Charges for Sunday Chaos

Mountain Home, AR. – A man from Salem AR. is facing multiple criminal charges, including a class Y felony, for several events on Sunday where he broke into multiple apartments and threatened the occupants.

The Mountain Home Police Department responded to multiple calls on the morning of December 18th, as a man was reported to have broken into multiple apartments. The perpetrator followed a woman into her home as she went inside, and kept her trapped inside while allegedly telling people someone was trying to kill him.

Then, in another call, the perpetrator then burst into another apartment, destroyed several items inside, and left.

Blake R. Giller, 32 of Salem, was identified as the criminal as officers arrived and began to arrest him, who then proceeded to resist  when being placed into custody.

Giller is charged with Felony counts of Kidnapping, Burglary x2, Attempt to Commit Burglary, and Terroristic Threats x2; he is also charged with misdemeanor counts of Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief x2, and Interference with Emergency Communication.

Giller’s bond was posted at $100,000 and he has since been released on December 19th.
