Salem, Mo. – A Salem, Missouri man and one other were killed in a two vehicle crash near Bixby on Thursday, August 11, 2022. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 7:52 p.m. on Missouri 32, seven and a half miles east of Bixby, Missouri.
A southbound 1997 Chevy Silverado driven by Keith Johns, 65 of Salem, crossed the centerline and struck a 2006 Ford Escape driven by Martin Daniel of Viburnum head on.

Both drivers were killed in the crash. Two passengers of the Ford, Devin Martin, age 21 of Fredericktown, and Sharon Davis, age 40 of Farmington, were seriously injured in the crash. The surviving pair was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
