A 23-year-old Salem man was killed in a crash on Highway 72, 16 miles east of Salem. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that the man was partially ejected from the back glass of his pickup after running off the road and hitting a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It marks the 36th fatality in Dent County this year.
