William Robbins, 38 of Edgar Springs, was identified as the likely driver in this accident after an investigation of parts found at the scene of the crash and information from an anonymous source.

Robbins is facing two felony charges: Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Accident Resulting in Death, and Tampering With Physical Evidence in Felony Prosecution.

The probable cause affidavit states that Robbins likely left the accident after knowingly striking a man due to fear of parole violation. The vehicle was found in a closed shop, and was being taken apart, likely to conceal evidence.
