Salem, MO. – The Salem Police Department is currently involved in an investigation regarding multiple ATM robberies and is asking for information on the robbers from the public.
According to the Salem PD, the first of these robberies occurred on October 23rd at Progressive Ozark Bank. An alarm alerted the police at roughly 3:11am, but the robbers had managed to break apart all compartments of the ATM and steal the cash inside in under two minutes.
But this wasn’t the only time this had happened. The robbers appear to have used a stolen vehicle during each operation and used tools purchased at Harbor Freight. Investigators are currently attempting to review security footage and track receipts to locate the criminals.
