Salem, MO. – A 19-year-old teenager has passed away as a result of a crash that occurred just a few miles East of the Texas County line.
Kaleb Keaton, 19 of Salem, MO, was pronounced dead as of 2:30am, early morning on Sunday, September 25th. The crash occurred at roughly 1:15am, as the Eastbound Keaton was driving his 2001 Dodge truck on Highway CC. Keaton failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway. He then struck an embankment, went airborne, and overturned. Keaton was not wearing his safety device.

This accident was investigated Trooper J.S. Leathers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop I.
