Salem VFW makes donation to Fulton Co. Fairgrounds

The Salem VFW Post 9777 and Auxiliary recently made a cash donation to the Fulton County Fair for the new Sheep and Goat barn that was recently constructed on the fairgrounds.

Construction on the 6,000 square ft. Red iron barn was completed in May. Plans are to complete the electrical work in the barn this fall and install the panels and gates in early 2021 and have it ready to use for the 2021 fair. Completion was delayed this summer because of the COVID-19 shut down and it was not needed for the Fulton County Livestock Show held recently. The barn will have a show arena in the center and will have it’s own wash rack on the west end.
