Lone Rock, AR. – Several accidents with serious injuries occurred in the Ozarks over this weekend. One Arkansas crash ended in fatal injuries for one, and hospitalizing injuries for another.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, this crash took place on State Highway 341 near Lone Rock, AR., a town Southwest of Norfork in Baxter County.
A pair of Mountain Home residents were riding a Honda motorcycle Northbound when they struck a large rock in the roadway. The driver lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway before striking a road sign.
Joe Deen, a 55-year-old male, sustained injuries which led to his transport to Baxter Health. The passenger, identified as Stephanie Lynn Bay, 53 of Mountain Home, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
