Mountain Home, AR. – The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and the Red, White and Blue Festival have released a message warning community members of a scam.
There are scammers contacting residents to sign up for the Red, White, and Blue Festival. They are letting people know that the Chamber of Commerce is not asking for any personal or banking information like the scammers are.
The Chamber of Commerce has three live links for signing up for the festival. One to sign up to be a Vendor, one to enter the parade, and one to Volunteer for the festival. All three of these can only be found on their website, www.redwhitebluefestival.com. They are asking that no one fill out any personal information on these signup sheets unless you find them through the website.
