Due to the forecasted inclement weather, there are updates to the fundraiser events planned for Lexi Williams:
The West Plains R-VII School District is rallying around Zizzer athlete Lexi Williams and her family as she battles a serious health condition. Lexi was recently diagnosed with a virus that caused her immune system to attack her nervous system, resulting in paralysis.
To support Lexi and her family, the district is hosting several fundraising events:
Updated Information:
- Basketball Games & Dessert Auction: The games have been moved to Saturday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. The dessert auction will take place during halftime of the JV game.
- Rib Pick-Up: Friday, January 10, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Ag Building. Delivery is available if you cannot get out due to the weather. Call 256-6150 ext. 2016 for assistance. Place your orders online here: https://forms.gle/oHJaP9AD74yAZGYk8.
Other Ways to Support Lexi:
- T-Shirt Fundraiser: The West Plains High School Student Council has partnered with 5D Screenprinting to organize a t-shirt fundraiser for Lexi. Order yours here: T-Shirt Fundraiser
- Donate & Attend Events: All proceeds from gate admission at the basketball games will go directly to Lexi and her family.
