School board candidate filings start in December

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — Board candidate election filing for the West Plains R-7 Board of Education is fast approaching.

Filing opens 8 am on December 17 and runs through 5 pm on January 21.

Lee Freeman, Christena Coleman, and Courtney Beykirch are in their final year of a three-year term.

All three seats will be up for election in April.
