West Plains, MO. – Earlier this month, a Pomona man was arrested following a search warrant recovering drugs and firearms from his home.
On July 21, 2023, multiple law enforcement agencies including the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, West Plains Police Department, and the South Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the residence of Zachary R. Siegrist on State Route N in Pomona.
Law enforcement found in the search roughly 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 30 Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia, three rifles, a shotgun, and a handgun. It was noted in the probable cause statement that Siegrist did not have a prescription for the pills.
Deputies also recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen out of West Plains and additional items that are suspected to be stolen from the area.
Siegrist has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and five counts of unlawful use of a weapon – possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance. He was held in the Howell County Jail and released on July 25 on a $50,000 bond.
