Semi Crash West of Willow Springs Injures Pomona Man

Willow Springs, MO. – The driver of a semi crashed on Highway AM, leading to his injury and totaling of the vehicle.

The semi was a 1999 Peterbilt 377, and was found wrecked four miles West of Willow Springs. The driver was James Douglas, 70 of Pomona, MO. The crash occurred when Douglas traveled off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected, leading to an overturn crash off the left side.

Douglas was moderately injured in the crash and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Corporal J.S. Cunningham of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
