Gainesville, MO. – A semi truck pulling an empty trailer crashed into Lick Creek Friday morning in Ozark County. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. off of Highway J. The truck ran off the roadway and into the water below the bridge that crosses the Lick Creek. The bridge wasn’t damaged in the crash and the driver was uninjured.

Responding to the accident were the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville and Lick Creek Volunteer Fire Departments, and the Ozark County Ambulance. The Department of Natural Resources has been notified about the truck in the creek.
