Those travelling North on Highway 63 moving toward West Plains from Thayer will likely see traffic closed off or trickling through as MODOT crews and the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigate and clean-up the semi-trailer that is stretched across the road.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrolman on the scene, the driver ran off the roadway and overturned, which caused their trailer to swing out across the road and similarly overturn.

The driver was transported to Ozarks Healthcare with “suspected minor injuries”. Clean-up is expected to take a few hours, and drivers are urged to use extreme caution in their morning commute to West Plains.
