Jefferson City, MO – A new law relating to the coronavirus pandemic is set to take effect later this month. SB 51 & 42 took a front seat during the 2020-2021 legislative session but not all senators agreed on the protections it offered businesses.
Senator Tony Luetkemeyer of Parkville believes it will help offer protections to businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic:

Another aspect of this new law protects religious organizations and medical professionals from liability, unless clear and convincing evidence is provided.
Senate Bill 51 & 42 will go into effect on August 28, 2021.
