A single-vehicle crash occurred on Highway JJ, three miles south of West Plains, at approximately 2:10 PM Wednesday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash involved a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 traveling westbound. According to the report, the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree. The impact resulted in significant damage, leading to the vehicle being declared a total loss. Hughes Towing was called to remove the wreckage from the scene.
The driver, a 43-year-old male from Camp, Arkansas, sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Baxter Regional Hospital for treatment.
