Serious Injures Result from Oregon County Crash

Brandsville, MO. – A West Plains man has been seriously injured and is recovering in Springfield after a crash in Oregon County.

Trooper A.K. Falterman from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G was the responding investigator of the crash.

A 2001 Dodge Ram was being driven Southbound on Highway M, at an estimated 3.5 miles Northeast of Brandsville. The driver was identified as Melvin Campbell, a 30-year-old West Plains resident.

It is reported that Campbell crossed the center of the roadway, travelled off the left side of the road, and collided with both a fence and a tree. Air ambulance services were called to take Campbell to Cox South in Springfield due to the severity of his injuries.
