Serious Injuries Sustained by Mountain Grove Man in Monday Crash

A Mountain Grove man was seriously injured early Monday after his vehicle went airborne and overturned on Highway 95, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers report the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on June 29, four miles north of Mountain Grove. A 2024 Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 20‑year‑old man, was traveling southbound when it ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, went airborne, then hit a second embankment. The vehicle overturned, and the driver was ejected before the car came to rest.

The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, sustained serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital.
