The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce held their Chamber Banquet on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Pine Meadows Venue in Willow Springs. During the Chamber Banquet, awards are presented to community members who made major contributions to the Willow Springs area and helped to raise up others. Seven outstanding people and businesses were awarded.
2022 Citizen of the Year award went to JT Tooley. His award was presented by his daughter Heather.
2022 Volunteer of the Year award went to Mac Gum. His award was presented by Robert Hollis of Shelter Insurance. Mac’s lifelong dedication to serving this community and his tireless commitment to multiple organizations made him a perfect recipient for this year’s award.
2022 Community Spirit Award went to Robert Hollis. This award was presented by Joe Blankenship. Since arriving in the area, Hollis has immersed himself in the community and is involved and supports multiple organizations and activities.
2022 Educator of the Year award went to Sabrina Lee. Sabrina’s award was presented by Nick Schmitt. Lee is a teacher at Willow Springs.
2022 Youth of the Year award went to Stacie Johnson. The award was presented by Jeff Conger.
2022 Large Business of the Year went to Bear Crossing Truck Wash & Tire Center. This award was presented by Miranda Brotherton.
The 2022 Small Business of the Year award went to Ozarks Sweetest Bakeshop. This award was presented by Kim Fredrick.
