Ava, MO. – An individual who was arrested in 2019 for actions denoting him as a sex offender has officially received a Grand Jury Indictment as of late last month.
The convicted felon in this case is Kristopher Lenon, 30 of West Plains who was arrested back in November of 2019 for attempting to meet up with a supposed 15-year-old girl. The situation was being set up and filmed by an organization called 417 Predator Hunters, and local law enforcement was informed of the meet up.
Deputies were dispatched and located Lenon at the South Casey’s in Ava, who was still expecting to meet the aforementioned underage female. In addition, Lenon was found with marijuana on his person, which was illegal at the time.
Lenon has been formally charged with Felony 2nd Degree Statutory Rape, Felony 2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy, and Possession of Marijuana.
