Seymour Resident Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident

Brighton, MO. – A 45-year-old Seymour resident has been injured while riding in a vehicle involved in an accident this morning near Brighton, MO.

The accident consists of a collision between a 2016 Chevy Traverse and a 2013 Chevy 1500 on Missouri Route 13. The driver of the Southbound 1500 driven by a 52-year-old Morrisville resident pulled into the path of the Traverse, and the collision occurred.

Both vehicles were totaled, and both drivers were uninjured. Saloma Schwartz, 45 of Seymour, was an unbuckled passenger, and suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident.

She was transported to Mercy in Springfield for treatment.
