Fordland, MO. – An accident involving a garbage truck in Fordland, MO. has caused the injury of a pair of Seymour residents, according to a report from Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
This accident took place on US 60 within the Fordland city limits, and occurred when a Southbound Mack Truck was crossing both lanes of US 60, and ended up striking an Eastbound Ford Escape in the process.
The driver of the garbage truck, Sherman Robert, a 60-year-old Hartville resident, was uninjured in the crash. The driver of the Escape, Rebecca Barnett, 51 of Seymour sustained moderate injuries. One passenger of the Escape, Dennis Webster, 53 of Seymour, was inflicted with minor injuries.
Both injured individuals were transported to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Trooper J.W. Philpott of Troop D.
