Shannon Co. COVID-19 case includes Howell Co. exposures

The Howell County Health Department has announced that they have received word that recently identified cases of COVID-19 in Shannon County had visited a number of locations while in Howell County.

The potential community exposures identified in the contact tracing investigation includes:

Wednesday, June 24: 
OMC Thrift Store, West Plains, 9:30am -10:00am
Walmart, West Plains, 10:30am – 11:30am
JC Penney, West Plains, 11:30am – 12:30pm

Friday, June 26:
Walmart, West Plains, 9:15am – 9:45am

Saturday, June 27:
Walmart, Mountain View, 10:30am – 10:45am and 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Anderson Home Furnishings, Mtn. View, 11:00am – 12:00pm
Dollar General, Mtn. View, 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Signal/Hanks chicken, Mtn. View, 2:30pm- 2:45pm

People visiting these locations during the dates and times identified are at LOW risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor themselves for symptoms.  Anyone who develops symptoms of COIVD-19 should contact their health care provider regarding testing and take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
