Shannon Co. reports first COVID-19 death

The Shannon County Health Center has announced the first COVID-19-related death of a Shannon County resident. The health department cannot reveal any identifying information.
The health department asks everyone to continue to practice basic preventive measures to help decrease the spread of illness. These measures include: staying home when you are sick, avoiding contact with people who are sick, covering coughs and sneezes, frequent/proper hand-washing, cleaning frequently used surfaces and wearing masks when you are going to be in close contact with others.
