WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Area residents interested in learning how to read blueprints or develop computer-aided drafting skills can sign up now for a class being offered by the Workforce Development and Community Education Department at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP).
The 20-hour Print Reading and Auto CAD class will cover the fundamental print reading skills required in the technical trades, including:
- Shape and size description
- Annotations
- Industrial drawing types
- Specialized parts and prints
- Basic computer-aided drafting
The course will run from Dec. 16-20 at the Pace Industrial Science Center, 218 W. Broadway, in West Plains. The cost is $200. Register at WP.MissouriState.edu/Workforce/Courses.
