Silver Dollar City Announces $500 Million Dollar Project: Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts

Branson, MO. – Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri has announced their biggest invest ever: a half-billion dollar project spanning over the next 10 years called “Silver Dollar City: Parks and Resorts”.

This was announced yesterday at a media event in the middle of the park. There, President Brad Thomas spoke about the importance of this resort, and about how this will expand what they can do for the people who visit Branson the world over for the beautiful views and culture of the Ozarks.

This development project is happening over a 1,200 acre property that currently borders SDC, and construction is already underway for the first part of the project. This will be a 262-room, 7-story hotel & resort that overlooks a finger of Table Rock Lake and the iconic hills of the Branson area.

Silver Dollar City provided Ozark Radio News with a tour of the new location where construction is taking place, and even Missouri Governor Mike Parson was there to speak a few words on this announcement.

The new hotel is expected to be complete and open by 2026.
