A West Plains woman injured in a head-on crash on Highway 101 near Bakersfield. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that the woman was flown to Cox South in Springfield for treatment. The other driver was not injured.
Firefighters battled a large wind-fueled blaze along Highway near Bakersfield. Several hundred acres and four structures were burned in the fire. Many area fire departments provided mutual aid to help control the rapid spread.
