West Plains, MO. – On April 6, 2024, the workforce development and community education office at Missouri State University- West Plains is offering a solar eclipse paint party from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. This event is happening in the Creative Discovery Center in Drago Hall on the MSU-WP campus.
During the event, the individuals participating will create their commemorative t-shirt and a totality bag using fabric paint, glow-in-dark paint, and splatter technique. This is a family-friendly event that will take about an hour to complete. Classes will start every 2 hours and the prices are $12 for a youth shirt, $15 for an adult shirt, and $30 for a tote bag. Walk-ins will be welcome but they ask you to register for the event which you can do by contacting the MSU-WP workforce development and community education office at (417) 255-7788 or email trevorcressman@missouristate.edu.
