A Ravenel, South Carolina woman was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after an accident five miles west pf Ellsinore on Highway 60 Monday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident occurred when a 2011 Ford F-150 driven by a 54-year-old Ellsinore woman attempted to cross the highway and struck a 2024 Ford Edge driven by a 64-year-old South Carolina woman.Both vehicles were totaled.

The Ellsinore woman was not injured according to the report.
