At 11:58 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, resident Byron Pollard, DOC No. 1241332, was
pronounced dead at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri.
Pollard was a 34-year-old resident serving multiple life sentences for second-degree
murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action, all from St. Louis
City. Pollard was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on March 24,
2014.
An autopsy will be conducted.
