Southern Bank donates to Ozarks Healthcare’s Foundation

WEST PLAINS, MO – Southern Bank has made a donation of $10,000 to Ozarks Healthcare’s Foundation. The funds will be used to help with costs associated with Ozarks Healthcare’s latest expansion project, which includes a new medical office building, flexible clinics, procedure suite, centralized imaging facilities, an updated pharmacy, and more.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Southern Bank and their donation to our foundation,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “We are appreciative of donors and community partners such as Southern Bank who know the value of investing in not only our area’s future, but more importantly, our community’s health. Southern Bank’s donation will assist us in growing our health system to better serve our region.”

Governed by a local board of directors, Ozarks Healthcare’s Foundation accepts and uses charitable contributions from individuals, businesses, corporations, and other foundations to assist Ozarks Healthcare in providing excellent healthcare to the communities it serves. Funds may be used specifically for:

  • New medical technology and equipment
  • Renovation and new facilities
  • Community wellness, prevention, and other out-of-hospital services to promote quality of life
