The Southern Missouri Home Builders recently announced the cancellation of the annual Home and Garden Show, known now as the Home and Outdoor Living Show. The event has been held annually for more than three decades at the West Plains Civic Center.
Southern Missouri Home Builders issued a letter regarding the cancellation:
First and foremost, the Southern Missouri Home Builders Association would like to thank you for your continuing support and involvement over the years. Due to multiple unfortunate events, including some miscommunication of the show dates, we have had lower than expected interest in the Home Show this year. Due to this, many vendors are unable to attend, and we feel those that can, may have a disappointing show. Therefore, we feel it’s in the best interest of our vendors and the community to cancel the 2025 Home and Outdoor Living Show. This was an extremely difficult decision to make. We understand that many will be disappointed with this outcome, as we are too. To those who have sent in their payment already, you will be getting a refund check sent back to you. If you happened to have paid by card, please contact us for a refund. Looking forward to 2026, we are planning a bigger and better show with exciting changes to come. We hope you understand and will join us next year! Thank you.
