Due to recent damages, the Splash Pad at Butler Children’s Park in West Plains will be closed temporarily for repairs.
According to West Plains City Officials, “the belief is improper use caused the damages.” The equipment is not designed to be climbed on or swung on, etc.

The city encourages the public to contact the Police Department at 256-2244, if you happen to see anyone damaging the Splash Pad or any other parks in West Plains.
Once the splash pad reopens, the hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
