Houston, MO–The Texas County Memorial Hospital Cabool Medical Clinic sponsored sports physicals for area high school and middle school athletes at the clinic on Tuesday, May 4.
Dr. Stephen Hawkins and Samantha Welch, family nurse practitioner, performed the sports physicals.
There was no charge for the physicals, and no appointment was necessary.
“We provided sports physicals for 75 athletes,” Cathy Stilley, TCMH clinic manager said. “We had a great turnout and our staff did an amazing job.”
“I appreciate the great job the providers did taking care of the athletes in our community,” Stilley said.
“Being able to offer a service like this to our community is just one way we can try to help make things a little easier for our schools and show support of our area youth,” Chris Strickland, TCMH chief executive officer said. “We strive to stay as involved as we can and we enjoy every opportunity that comes our way.”
