Stabbing in Mountain Home under investigation: Update

The Mountain Home Police Department responded to a stabbing dincident pursuant to a 911 call at 9:57 am. The incident occurred at the pavilion behind the Mountain Home Church of Christ located on North College Street.

The male victim was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center. A female is being detained for questioning. A knife was recovered. Law enforcement began searching for a subject described as a white male standing 5′ 8″, 120 pounds, with long light colored hair and a black T-shirt. At noon, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office had a subject in custody.

Arkansas State Police investigators resonded to the scene and have joined the investigation.

UPDATE:

The Mountain Home Police Department have arrested and charged Breanna F. Perrine in connection to this mornings incident. Perrine has been charge with “Second Degree Battery, a Class “D” Felony”.

The probable cause statement says that “The victim in the stabbing was found laying on the ground at the pavilion behind the church. The victim was transported to Baxter Regional for non-life threatening injuries. The victim later told Officers that his girlfriend, Perrine, had become angry over her head phones being broken and stabbed him in the chest. Perrine was found a short distance away from the scene. Perrine had a knife in the front pocket of her sweatshirt that had blood on the blade.”
