JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – State Representative Bennie Cook announces that the previously scheduled Maries County and Texas County Days at the Capitol have been combined and rescheduled as District 143 Day, to be held April 8th, 2025.
This special day will now include all counties within the 143rd district, providing a broader opportunity for constituents to engage with their state government. District 143 Day will offer those in attendance an inside look at the legislative process, including access to official House proceedings and opportunities to meet with elected officials to discuss key issues affecting their communities.
“It is an honor to bring together the great people of District 143 for a day dedicated to learning more about their government,” stated Cook, R-Houston. “By combining these events, we hope to create a more impactful experience for our constituents. I encourage anyone interested to join us and take advantage of this opportunity to engage directly with elected officials and the legislative process.”
Cook remains committed to fostering strong connections between citizens and government and seeks to ensure residents from across the district have a voice in state policy.
