Jefferson City, MO. – At an annual ceremony honoring service to Missouri, Representative David Paul Evans was honored for his contributions as a Missouri state legislator in improving the effective administration of justice in Missouri. At the joint conference, Chief Justice Paul Wilson presented Representative Evans the Chief Justice Legislative Award.
Representative Evans serves the state diligently and with integrity, leads by example, and helps provide the citizens of Missouri with the quality of justice they demand and deserve. He helps lead the state promoting both criminal and juvenile justice at the Missouri Capitol, serving as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee. He also serves on the Joint Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect, Special Committee on Veteran Mental Health and Suicide, the Special Committee on Criminal Justice, the Joint Committee on the Justice System, the Missouri Sentencing Advisory Commission, the House Budget Committee, and the Joint Committee on Court Automation.

Evans represents the 154th District of the state which includes most of Howell County.
