Houston, MO. – The fatal school shooting that occurred just yesterday at the Covenant Elementary School in Nashville includes on its toll the grandchild of a Houston, MO. couple.
The Houston Herald revealed the information, identifying Dr. Joe and Kathy Richardson as being the grandparents of one of the victims: Evelyn Dieckhaus, a 9-year-old elementary school student. Her mother is reported as being a Houston High School graduate, and both Evelyn and her older sister are known to have visited Houston each year in summer.
Reports on this nationally recognized news story include that the shooter, Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old, was a previous attendee of the school. They also say that while her attacks on the 3 adult victims were likely targeted, attacks on students were random and circumstantial.
