A 22‑year‑old Success man was injured Saturday evening in a high‑speed crash west of Roby. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at about 7:35 p.m. on Highway 32, roughly one mile west of town.
Troopers say the eastbound 2026 Chevrolet 2500 traveled off the right side of the roadway at a high rate of speed and struck three large trees before crashing into a house. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Texas County Ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

The truck was totaled and towed from the scene at the owner’s request. The Patrol reports the driver has been charged with DWI and careless and imprudent driving.
