Summersville, MO. – The Summersville Police Department is investigating an incident yesterday morning near Highway 17.
According to the PD, a female juvenile was walking along 5th Street when an unknown male pulled up to her in a lightly colored, tan 4-door vehicle. The male asked to give her a ride and persisted and drove alongside her when she refused until the juvenile ran to the closest residence. The driver then promptly left the scene.
A search was conducted by law enforcement, but they were unable to locate the individual or a vehicle matching the description. The vehicle had a sticker on the bottom right corner on the back glass stating “Just Married”, and the driver is described as a male in their mid twenties with a dark goatee.
